Stratford on Lanier Kitchen Remodel
Stratford on Lanier Kitchen Remodel uses neutrals for a classic look with traditional raised panel custom cabinetry, glass uppers, with wood stained larger island to ground the space. A beverage bar replaces an unused desk area and increases functionality with storage and dining room combined. Part of the design goal here was to increase the size of the island to add seating and keep as much storage space as possible. Refinishing the floor a lighter color helped to lighten the room, since we removed windows. Changing the island from white to a medium stain helps tie in the range hood trim and creates more dimensionality. Mixing woods here is not a problem, as it adds personalized character and still reads as a cohesive unit. More on Kitchen Remodeling
