Dixon Drive Handicap Accessible Bathroom

What a transformation! In this Dixon Dr. bathroom remodel, we helped to create a Handicap Accessible Bathroom and Shower for the clients, so it was much easier to navigate. This is not fully ADA due to the footprint of the bathroom, and the homeowners not wanting to move walls. It is fully functional for their needs, which is the magic of remodeling  – customizing YOUR home to YOU.  When it’s hard to bathe a loved one, zero entry showers with easy accessibility are the way.  Grab bars and hand held shower wands are everyday workhorses that you can’t imagine not having before, that everyone in the home can enjoy as well! Due to the width of this bathroom, not installing a glass door is better for walker accessibility, but one can be retrofitted later should needs change.  The client loved the existing Mid-Century colored sink and toilet, so we were able to raise the sink higher for better access and the room’s décor was based around the heritage fixtures.  Why choose Age in Place Remodeling?
